The old man slowly finishes the contents of the bottle standing next to him, as if it were the last drop of solace in his life. The shadows cast by the lanterns create a gloomy illumination around, reflecting on his weary face. Carefully, he then hides the empty bottle inside his old coat, as if concealing the last fragment of his dignity. Then, with a gaze full of sorrow and inexpressible heaviness, he rises from his spot and strides forward along the alley. Now their path leads them through dark alleyways, populated by ghosts of the past, onto bustling city streets where the sounds of urban hustle and bustle, and anxious voices, get lost in the noise and commotion.
